OUR AIMSBedfordshire Congolese Community Links is an independent community organisation, and a registered charity set up in August 2000 with the aim of support and assistance to the Congolese (Kinshasa), Congolese (Brazzaville), Angolan and other African communities resident in Luton and the surrounding areas. We are run by a management committee elected every three years, which is made up of members of the African community. Bedfordshire Congolese Community Links is a member of Voluntary Action Luton, Race Advisory Forum and African and Caribbean Community Development Forum. We work closely with other advice & information agencies in the area. We give free and confidential advice, counselling, information and assistance. We exist to bridge the gap between African Communities and the mainstream service providers. We aim to provide a culturally sensitive service. |
